Returns & Refunds
We make every effort to ensure that your order is carefully dispatched to you, and we hope that you're happy with your purchase. However, if you have any cause for dissatisfaction with your goods you may return them. Items must be in their original condition, unworn and returned within 14 days of receipt.
Returns Policy
Items must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase such as a receipt or delivery note. If you do not have these, a bank or credit card statement with card details removed may be provided. All products are inspected on return, and we cannot refund items that are not in their original, unworn condition unless faulty.
Returns Window & Locations
You have 14 days from delivery to return or exchange your order via our Returns Portal or at any Clarks Outlet store. Orders cannot be returned in our Full Price, Eire and Factory Stores or any store outside of the UK. Our stores cannot accept returns of Marketplace or Wholesale purchases.
Warehouse Returns
If returning to our warehouse, please allow up to 14 days for your return to be received and processed. A £2.95 fee will be deducted from refunds for warehouse returns (this does not apply to faulty items).
Refund Timing
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 days for the refund to appear in your account, although this may vary depending on your payment provider.
Store Purchases
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your item in a Clarks Outlet store. Store purchases must be returned to a store, as our warehouse cannot accept these returns. You can find your nearest store using our store locator. Please note that Full Price stores cannot accept returns of Outlet purchases.
Faulty Returns
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your order via our Returns Portal or to a Clarks Outlet store. Store purchases must be returned to a store, as our warehouse cannot accept these returns. - Order Number
- Description of Fault
- Uploaded photographs of the product (please ensure any faults are clearly shown):
- uppers / sole units

Return Exemptions
We can only offer an exchange for a different size of the original product ordered so accessories, shoe care and foot gauges cannot be exchanged.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we package earrings and studded body jewellery in sealed polybags. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on these items if the seal on the original polybag has been broken. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty or not as described.
How to Return
Return by EVRI (£2.95)
Please follow the steps below to produce your Returns label or QR barcode for instore printing:
- Visit our Online Returns Portal.
- You will be prompted to enter your order number (e.g. 612345678) and billing postcode.
- Select the product(s) that you wish to return and the reason for return.
- Select your preferred shipping method and enter the required information to register your return.
- Send your products back to us with the original packing slip, so we can identify your order number.
It can take up to 14 days for your return to be received and processed. We’ll send you an email when your refund has been processed.

Return to a Clarks Store (Free)
Use the ‘Find a Store’ button below to locate your nearest Clarks Outlet store, where you can return or exchange your purchase. Please note that Full Price Stores may appear in the store locator but cannot accept returns of Outlet purchases. When visiting a store, please bring your proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) and the credit/debit card used for the original transaction. Refunds will be credited within up to 5 working days from the date of return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are delivery charges refunded if I return my order?
Delivery charges are refunded if an entire order is faulty after assessment by our warehouse team. Otherwise, we do not refund delivery charges when orders are returned.
How will I be refunded for products purchased with a Gift Card/eGift?
For online purchases, you will be sent an eGift for the refund total by email. For purchases refunded in store, you will be issued a new Gift Card. We cannot issue cash or credit/debit card alternatives.
Why is my order not eligible for return?
You may be unable to return your order if it has been more than 14 days since delivery.
