In these terms and conditions, the words “Clarks”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean C & J Clark International Limited.
These terms and conditions explain our and your rights and obligations when you buy products from us through our website.
We aim to process all enquiries and requests as quickly as possible, but we reserve the right to restrict, refuse or cancel orders, as well as refuse access to the website and terminate accounts at our discretion.
We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time, but in respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when placing your order.

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website. In particular we try to ensure that all prices shown are accurate. Occasionally, though, pricing errors do occur. Where the correct price of a product is lower than the price you have paid, we will refund the difference to you, and despatch your order in the usual way.
Where the correct price of a product is higher than the price shown, you will have the option of proceeding with the order at the correct price, or cancelling the order.
Where a was price is referenced on this website this means the intended selling price of the product for the season that it was originally produced.
Please note that this may not represent the lowest selling price of the product during that season. This price will have been subject to price fluctuations.
Pricing and availability information is subject to change without notice. All prices are quoted in UK pounds sterling. All prices are inclusive of sales tax where appropriate but do not include delivery charges.
Prices of goods on the website may differ from prices in our stores and other websites owned and operated by us.

Payment can be made using the following major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and Electron (when registered to a UK billing address).
The agreement between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Orders can only be placed on this website. If for any reason the website is not operational the orders cannot be processed. Unfortunately our customer care and Outlet store teams are unable to place orders on your behalf.
After you have placed an order, we will send an email acknowledgment to the email address you have given us. This email is a confirmation of receipt of your order. Our acceptance of your order occurs when we despatch the products you have ordered to you. If after we have confirmed receipt of your order we discover any reason why we cannot accept it (such as a lack of stock, a price mistake on the website, or a problem with the details you have provided), we will cancel your order, in full and advise you by email or phone call. We will provide a refund when necessary.
Please note that despatch estimates are not guaranteed and that despatch times should not be relied upon as such.
We aim to ensure that the majority of the products on the site are in a new condition however from time to time some products on this website may have been tried on by customers in one of our stores. This could have resulted in some wear and tear to the product such as minor scuffs, or small scratches to the material of the product. After receiving your product, if you are not happy with your purchase you may return the product for a full refund.
All deliveries are subject to stock availability and authorisation of your payment. We will deliver your order to an address of your choice recognised by the courier companies we use. The delivery charge is the same, irrespective of the number of items ordered. The maximum order you will be able to make is four items/pairs of shoes.
For mainland UK and Northern Ireland the delivery charge is £3.95 per order. Delivery is within three to five working days for mainland UK and Northern Ireland, and within seven days for outlying areas. Delivery charges and times for other locations can be provided on request.
By providing us with your mobile phone number and email address when placing your order, our parcel carrier will be able to text/email you when your item is on its way. Please be aware that during peak trading times it may take 1-2 days longer for your order to arrive.

We make every effort to ensure that your Home Delivery order is carefully despatched to you, and we hope you're happy with your purchase.
However, if you're not happy with your purchase you can return it for a full refund or exchange within 28 days of receipt. Any returns must be unworn and in their original condition and packaging, and you must have your delivery documents as proof of purchase. If the item is faulty we’re happy to offer a refund within 30 days of receipt.
If you don't have your delivery documents and need to supply us with a credit card or bank statement for proof of purchase, please remove your payment card number. You can do this by cutting out the details or by covering the number, then scanning your documents. This returns policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.
How do I return?
FREE RETURNS VIA PARCELSHOP
Detach your returns form found at the bottom of your despatch note. Fill in the details and enclose in your parcel, together with your returned item(s).
Peel off the Hermes returns label enclosed with your order and attach it on the outside of the parcel over your address.
Take to your local Hermes parcel shop to drop off. To find your nearest Hermes parcel shop, go to MyHermes. You'll receive proof of postage and a code to track your return online. You must retain this until the item(s) are credited on your statement, as this enables us to trace your order.
FREE RETURNS COURIER COLLECTION
You will need a working printer to complete this process. Please follow the steps below.
Go to MyHermes.
Arrange your collection and print your returns label.
Detach your returns form found at the bottom of your despatch note. Fill in the details and enclose in your parcel.
Attach your printed label order and attach it on the outside of the parcel over your address.
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your return. We cannot process an exchange of your returned item(s). If you experience any difficulties with returning goods, please contact Customer Care here.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your agreement with Clarks within a period of 14 calendar days. This period begins the day after you receive the goods. Please contact us as soon as possible to notify us of your cancellation request.
If your order has already been sent for picking at our distribution centre you will need to either refuse delivery or return the goods.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the product.
Goods must be returned before a refund will be processed and the product must be returned in its original condition.
How you can cancel this agreement
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your agreement, however please note once the order has started to be processed in the warehouse, then you will have to follow our standard returns procedure. For more information visit our Delivery and Returns page.
If you wish to cancel, you can do so by calling our customer care team 01458 899878, or by sending an email to Outlet.CustomerCancellations@Clarks.com quoting the following details:
- Date ordered
- Order number
- Address line 1
- Address line 2
- Address line 3
We will confirm that your order has been cancelled in writing. Once your order has been cancelled, any sum debited from your payment card by us will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible.
If cancelled orders are erroneously delivered to you, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
How Clarks can cancel this agreement
We reserve the right to cancel the order if:
- We have insufficient stock to fulfil your order;
- We are unable to obtain payment;
- We do not deliver to your area;
- A product fault or an error in the product description has been identified.
If you have a complaint about any goods you purchase from us please contact us here so our Customer Care team can help you.
If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction you can contact an independent, impartial third party who will consider your complaint and help us to come to an agreement. This is an alternative to bringing a court case . We agree to use ProMediate for this type of dispute resolution. You can contact ProMediate by email. If you bought goods from us online you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform if you have an unresolved complaint with us. This is a dispute resolution process conducted entirely online. You can access this platform at here.
Gift Cards and eGifts
Clarks Gift Cards and/or eGift (Gift Tender) may only be used in our stand alone Stores or Outlet Stores within the UK & ROI. Gift Tender may not be used in Clarks Wholesale stockists or online.
Gift Tender expires 24 months from last use. (Last use means a purchase, top up or part redemption) Any balance remaining will be cancelled.
Once activated, the Clarks Gift Tender is redeemable for full or part payment of a transaction. The amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card.
Gift Tender cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for cash, except in accordance with your legal rights.
Gift Tender cannot be resold, transferred for value or exchanged for cash. No cash change will be given on purchases made using Gift Tender.
Please treat your Gift Tender as cash, Clarks cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen cards and cannot be replaced.
Clarks reserves the right to refuse to accept any Gift Tender which it deems to have been tampered with, defaced, modified, duplicated, damaged, or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
By purchasing, using or accepting Gift Tender you confirm your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Clarks reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, without notice and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of Gift Tender, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.
The minimum amount to activate or top up a Gift Tender is £5, or in the case of Gift Tender issued in the ROI €5 and the maximum Gift Tender limit is £500, or in the case of Gift Tender issued in the ROI €500.
Gift Tender can be topped up at any till point in store by informing the sales advisor of the amount to be added. Gift Tender cannot be resold.
There are no limitations on how many times Gift Tender can be used (until the balance is £0.00). Your Gift Tender balance may be checked in store or online.

A maximum of five Gift Tender can be used in one transaction.
Gift Cards only
The risk in any gift card shall pass to you upon delivery to you by our delivery service partners. The gift card remains the property of Clarks and may not be tampered or interfered with, without Clarks consent. If a gift card is found, please return to the nearest Clarks store.
Clarks makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect of Gift Cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The risk in any eGift shall pass to you upon Clarks electronic transmission to you. The eGift remains the property of Clarks, and may not be tampered or interfered with, without Clarks’s consent. If eGift Voucher is found, please return to the nearest Clarks store.
eGift will be dispatched by email to your designated email account provided to us. This will happen as soon as Clarks is in receipt of cleared cleared payment for the eGift.
Clarks shall not be liable or responsible for eGift that are unable to be delivered due to your error (for example, typing errors, misspelt or incorrect email addresses), spam filters, firewalls or mailbox restrictions.
Paper Gift Vouchers
Clarks will not issue paper gift vouchers going forward. Existing paper gift vouchers will still be honored in store.
Paper gift vouchers are only valid with a nique serial number on the reverse. A maximum of five paper gift vouchers can be used in one transation.
